Follow these easy steps to get your Zanussi ZRT 6647 Refrigerator up and running in no time.
The appliance and the interior fittings are protected for transport. Remove all packaging and any adhesive tape. Any remnants of adhesive can be removed using white spirit.
Clean the inside of the appliance with lukewarm water with a little bicarbonate of soda added (5 ml to 0.5 litre of water). Do not use soap or detergent as the smell may linger.
Locate the appliance in a cool, well-ventilated room. Make sure the air openings of the cabinet are not obstructed. Avoid positioning the appliance near heat sources such as radiators, stoves, or direct sunlight.
Ensure proper ventilation by leaving the required distance between the back of the appliance and the wall as stated in the installation instructions.
Level the appliance by adjusting the two adjustable feet at the front of the appliance. If required, the washer can be removed.
Any electrical work required to install this appliance should be carried out by a qualified electrician or competent person. Ensure that the power plug has not been squashed or damaged during transit.
After installation, the appliance should be left for 2 hours before it is turned on. This allows the refrigerant to settle.
Plug in the appliance and switch on at the mains supply. Turn the thermostat control to the required setting. A setting of 3 is usually suitable for normal operation.
Leave the appliance for approximately 4 hours for the correct temperature to be reached before placing food inside.
Do not allow children to tamper with the controls or play with the product.
